About Laura "Max"

BCA Pool League
Operator
The first
pool league game I ever watched had me hooked! I'd slammed a few
balls around at the local bowling alley or the corner bar, but
had no idea of the strategies involved in the game until I
really paid attention to the pool players in league play! After
that, I couldn't get enough.
I started
buying all the books I could find on the fine art of billiards
and started hanging out at the pool halls to watch some of the
local talent shoot. Giving some of the players a good laugh, I
brought my books to the bar when they opened the doors on
Saturday morning and practiced all day!
I first
joined an amateur league over 15 years ago. The idea of playing
against better players and actually getting some of my money
back at the end of the session is what interested me in the BCA
Pool Leagues. I've been a team player and captain on several
teams over the years and while my eyesight isn't as good as it
used to be, I love the game. 8-Ball or 9-Ball - pool is like the
game of chess - without the limitations of all those little
squares!
If you
enjoy a challenge and have never tried it, you owe it to
yourself to try BCA Pool League!
